Amex Platinum Card 100,000 Point Offer is Back via CardMatch Tool
This deal has popped up quite frequently as of late, and per Doctor of Credit, it appears it’s back! No credit pull to see if you qualify.
New to American Express? You may be able to pull up the 100,000 point American Express Platinum card offer through CardMatch. Based on past evidence, it seems that those who have never held an American Express card have the best chance of being selected for this offer. The normal welcome bonus offer is 60,000 points after $5,000 in spending in the first three months. The new offer to earn 100,000 Membership Rewards after $5,000 in spend offer would match the highest rewards offering ever for this card. The welcome bonus offer alone is worth well north of $1,000.
If you’ve never heard of CardMatch, it is run by Creditcards.com and helps prospective cardholders find targeted credit card offers. Every person will likely have different offers presented to them based on what cards they hold in their wallet. The best part is there is no credit pull or inquiry to see what is being offered. Once you check your offers, make sure to select “All Matches” as the 100k offer may not be on the initial page.
Per The Points Guy, there is also a targeted CardMatch offer for the Premier Rewards Gold card. After spending $1,000 in the first three months of card membership you will receive 50,000 Membership Rewards points (The public welcome bonus offer is 25,000 points). Make sure to check for both offers if you haven’t yet had these card products. Offers may not be available to all users.
The American Express Platinum card is one that I carry-on in my wallet every day. Besides the 100k point initial offer, It gives me access to my favorite lounges including the Delta Sky Club, Priority Pass lounges, Escape Lounges (including the one at MSP), and the exclusive Centurion Lounges. You also earn 5x points when purchasing airfare directly through airlines. In my opinion, it is the best card for Delta flyers.
Here are my favorite features:
- 5x spending on airline ticket purchases
- $200 annual airline credit
- $200 annual Uber credit (including Uber Eats)
- $100 Global Entry credit
- Delta Sky Club access when flying Delta
- Priority Pass lounge access
- Amex Centurion lounge access
- Escape lounge access (including at MSP)
- Elite status with SPG/Marriott, Hilton, and National
The card does come with a $550 annual fee but the credits and the 100k point sign-up bonus more than cover the fee. The Membership Rewards points earned from the card can be transferred to Delta, Air France, ANA and Singapore Airlines, just to name a few. You can also use the points to buy flight deals you find here at Thrifty Traveler or Thrifty Traveler Premium.
I’d make sure to check CardMatch’s offers right away as they could pull this offer at any time. This offer matches the highest I have ever seen on the card, so if you are targeted, Offers may not be available to all users, so I would jump on it right away if you are targeted.
