[Amex Offer] Spend $500 at Aerolineas Argentinas Get $100 Back
American Express has added a great new offer that will have appeal to Delta elites and those looking at South American Travel. Spend $500 at Aerolineas Argentinas and get $100 back.
The offer is a one-time statement credit which must be used by September 27th, 2018. This Aerolineas Argentinas Amex offer seems to be pretty widely available as I was able to find it on two of my cards. If you have the offer on your American Express Platinum Card, you will earn 5x points on the airfare purchase.
Where to find Amex Offers
If you haven’t used Amex Offers before, simply log into your American Express account and scroll down near the bottom of the screen and there should be a box called Amex Offers & Benefits (this is available through the Amex mobile app as well). If you see an offer you like, simply add the offer to the card and make a qualifying purchase at that business with your card. You should receive a statement credit for the offer within a few days of making a purchase.
The Scoop on Aerolineas Argentinas
Since Aerolineas Argentinas is a member of the SkyTeam Alliance, you can earn both Delta SkyMiles and MQMs with the airline. Your earnings will be based on the total distance flown instead of the dollars spent and will also be dependant on the fare class purchased as pictured below.
Aerolineas Argentinas is Argentina’s largest domestic and international airline. The state-owned airline serves as Argentina’s flag carrier and serves more than 30 domestic and more than 20 international destinations in Europe, the Americas, Australia & Asia. The airline flies nonstop from Buenos Aires (EZE) to both New York (JFK) and Miami (MIA).
I’m a fan of Amex offers because they’re basically free money for spending I am going to do anyhow. They also represent another way to justify the cost of a credit card annual fee. Make sure to check your various American Express credit cards because each one can have different offers. However, as mentioned above, it looks like this offer is pretty widely available. The offers change almost daily, so add this one now before it disappears.
