[Amex Offer] Spend $100, Earn 1,000 Membership Rewards points Paying Your Phone Bill Online
Update: This offer is expired!
American Express added a lucrative new Amex Offer this week. Earn 1,000 Membership Rewards points award each time you use your enrolled card to make a single purchase of $100 online @ accepting major US carriers by 1/31/17. There is a limit of 3,000 additional Membership Rewards points. This means that if you pay your phone bill with your enrolled card from November through January, you will receive 3,000 bonus points. This offer is valid for cell phone bill payments made directly with these accepting major US carriers: T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T Wireless, US Cellular and Verizon and is valid until 1/31/17. This is a no brainer for me, and an easy way to pick up 3,000 additional American Express Membership Rewards points.
Where to find Amex Offers
If haven’t used Amex Offers before, simply log into your American Express account and scroll down near the bottom of the screen and there should be a box called Amex Offers & Benefits (This is available through the Amex mobile app as well). If you see an offer you like, simply add the offer to the card and make a qualifying purchase at that business with your card. It’s that easy!
Thrifty Tip #1: If you have more than one Amex card, there’s a loophole where you can add the same offer to multiple Amex cards. Read our Amex Offers Loophole guide and maximize your savings!
I’m a huge fan of Amex offers because it’s free money (or in this case points). Make sure to check your various American Express cards because each one can have different offers. However, I was only able to find this offer on my American Express Platinum card, but I would imagine it is available for any card that earns Membership Rewards points. The offers change almost daily so I’d make sure to check back regularly.
