[Amex Offer] 20% off your next SPG Stay ($60 off $300+)
Earlier this week, American Express added a great new offer that many people should be able to take advantage of. Spend $300 or more at Participating Starwood Hotels & Resorts by 1/31/18 and get $60 back. This is an easy way to save 20% off your next stay.
Per the terms and conditions of the offer enrollment has conditions but most Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) hotels qualify (excludes all Marriott hotels). The offer is valid only at the following SPG Participating Hotels & Resorts in the US and US territories: Aloft, Design Hotels, Element, Four Points by Sheraton, Le Méridien, The Luxury Collection, Sheraton, St. Regis, Tribute Portfolio, W Hotels, and Westin. Reservations must be made online at spg.com, via the SPG mobile app, or by calling 1-877-782-7966. Excludes all Marriott brand hotel properties, residences, Vistana Vacation, and all timeshares.
This offer is targeted, but it seems to be pretty widely available, as it was pulling on all of my American Express personal credit cards. The terms of the offer state that this promotion is valid until 1/31/2018, so if you have travel plans before then, you should be able to take advantage of this offer.
Where to find Amex Offers
If you haven’t used Amex Offers before, simply log into your American Express account and scroll down near the bottom of the screen and there should be a box called Amex Offers & Benefits (this is available through the Amex mobile app as well). If you see an offer you like, simply add the offer to the card and make a qualifying purchase at that business with your card. You should receive a statement credit for the offer within a few days of making a purchase.
Make sure to check your various American Express credit cards because each one can have different offers. However, it looks like this Starwood offer is widely available at the moment. The offers change almost daily, so add this one now before it disappears. American Express is also offering an increased 35k sign-up bonus on the their SPG Business card. If you would like to apply for a card, make sure to visit our Top Credit Cards section.
