The hits just keep coming for earning additional points & miles for shopping on Amazon. On Monday, afternoon, jetBlue sent out the following email to members of their TrueBlue loyalty program:

Amazon jetBlue

email received from jetBlue on 3/12/18

This is quite the blow as jetBlue was the only shopping portal that earned additional points for purchases on Amazon. While you will still earn 3X points if connected to jetBlue’s Fly-Fi service aboard a jetBlue flight, you can currently earn 3X jetBlue points for every dollar spent on Amazon regardless of your location. Last month, we reported that Amazon gift card purchases no longer earn 5X Membership Rewards Points with the American Express Platinum card, so jetBlue was the only opportunity left.

Bottom Line

This is a bummer as earning additional jetBlue points for Amazon purchases was relatively effortless. If you have a large purchase to make on Amazon, make sure to do it before 3/27/18 through the jetBlue portal to pick up additional points before this no longer works.
