To celebrate National Ugly Sweater Day, Alaska Airlines is offering priority boarding to passengers wearing holiday sweaters on December 15th.

Travel during the holidays can be stressful for guests, especially those who do not travel often. This fun promotion not only allows guests to board early on that day, but gives people another opportunity to dust off that ugly holiday sweater hanging in the back of their closet,” said Natalie Bowman, managing director of marketing and advertising at Alaska Airlines.

Alaska Airlines and Air France/KLM just announced they are cutting ties with their partnership, so what better way to celebrate than to sport one of KLM’s Christmas Sweaters!? I’m sure everyone at Alaska will easily dub it the most hideous sweater of all.

Bottom Line

Kudos to Alaska on running a simple, cheap, and fun promo this holiday season. Travel during the holidays can be stressful, and it’s promotions like this make it just a little easier.
