American Express has added a great new Amex Offer that many people should be able to take advantage of.  Spend $1,000 or more at either Air France or KLM by 7/31/18 and get 20,000 American Express Membership Rewards points. Make sure to check all of your American Express cards that earn Membership Rewards points.

If you are using the KLM Amex Offer, your flight must originate in the US. However, this same requirement is not necessary if you are using the Air France Amex Offer. Flights can originate anywhere Air France flies as long as you are paying in USD.

Where to find Amex Offers

If you haven’t used Amex Offers before, simply log into your American Express account and scroll down near the bottom of the screen and there should be a box called Amex Offers & Benefits (this is available through the Amex mobile app as well). If you see an offer you like, simply add the offer to the card and make a qualifying purchase at that business with your card. You should receive a statement credit for the offer within a few days of making a purchase.

Bottom Line

I’m a fan of Amex offers because they’re basically free money for spending I am going to do anyhow. They also represent another way to justify the cost of a credit card annual fee. Make sure to check your various American Express credit cards because each one can have different offers. It looks like this Air France Amex offer should be available for most people as long as you have a Membership Rewards earning Amex card. This offer ends on 7/31/18 so don’t wait to take advantage.
