    Do Delta Miles expire?

Is there a link for the deal

  3. Fred says:

If you own a delta gold card, is there a way to upgrade to platinum (and receive the 70k miles) without carrying both gold and platinum? If not, it would not seem beneficial to carry both cards and pay both annual fees….

    • Nick Serati says:

You can’t upgrade and receive the 70k SkyMile offer. However, you can apply for a new card as Amex views these as two separate card products. If you do this, you will be eligible to earn the welcome offer bonus. In doing so, you could close your Gold if you didn’t want to keep both, but this is the only way you can get the 70k offer for the Platinum card.
