If you’re anything like us here at Thrifty Traveler, you still have a few people that still need to be checked off of your holiday shopping list. I can’t tell you how many times the free 2 day shipping offered with my Amazon Prime account has bailed me out of a gift giving pinch. Below, we’ve assembled a list of our favorite travel related items, for the thrifty traveler on your list. Also, all of these items are available on Amazon Prime with free 2 day shipping, which should give you ample time to receive them before the holidays. Without further ado, our 10 favorite travel related gifts:

1. Anker PowerLine+ Charging Cable (6ft)

Anybody who owns an iPhone or any Apple device that is powered with a lightning cable knows the struggle. The standard cable that comes in the box is too short (3ft) and not very durable. I find that the cable jackets tend to rip or crack very easily. I bought this charging cable about 4 months ago after leaving my old one in a hotel room. This thing is the real deal. The jacketing is a double braided nylon material which seems extremely durable. It’s also 6 feet long (twice the length of the standard cord from Apple) and comes with a great travel case making it very easy to store in your carry on. Available at Amazon, $16.99

2. Anker PowerCore 20100 – Ultra High Capacity Power Bank

A compact power bank has become a staple item in the carry-on bags of frequent travelers. There is nothing worse than having your devices die when you need them most. I received this as a gift last Christmas and it has not disappointed. This thing will charge my iPhone 7 Plus between 5-6 times before I need to recharge its battery. It has 2 USB charging ports which allows you to charge multiple devices at once. This thing is lifesaver. Available at Amazon, $39.99

3. Bose QuietComfort 35 Wireless Headphones

These headphones are definitely not cheap, but they hold their value well for later resale on craigslist or eBay. The QuietComfort series from Bose has become a favorite among travelers due to their patented noise cancelling technology. The QuietComfort 35 model came out earlier this year, and they are the first in the series to offer wireless bluetooth capability. I purchased a pair of these for myself back in May and they’re incredible. The rechargeable battery that powers the noise cancelling technology lasts for up to 20 hours before needing a charge. These have saved me from numerous crying babies on flights this year. Available at Amazon, $349.00

4. Amazon Kindle Paperwhite E-reader

I can’t say enough good things about my kindle. I can load it up with books before I leave on a trip and the battery charge lasts weeks on a single charge. The built-in adjustable light on the Paperwhite edition is a great feature if you want to read while your significant other is sleeping. Have Amazon Prime? You will also have unlimited access to thousands of book titles for free! Available on Amazon, $99.99

5. RFID Blocking Passport Holder

I purchased this passport case before a two week long European adventure this past fall. I was very impressed by the quality and storage capacity. The passport slides in and out of this very easily and the carbon fiber cover makes this very easy to find in your carryon bag. Available at Amazon, $32.95

6. Contigo Auto Spout Addison Water Bottle

I just recently started traveling with a water bottle in my carry-on. I have found this has saved me an incredible amount of money from not buying overpriced bottles of water at the airport. It also helps keep me hydrated during a long day of travel. This bottle is extremely durable and spill proof when the lid is in the locked position. Contigo knocked it out of the park with this bottle, which is available in an array of colors. Available at Amazon, $11.99

In the year 2016 most travelers carry around a lot of technology. This typically means a pile of charging cables and accessories. There is nothing more irritating than digging through your bag to find the exact cable you need. I picked one of these up earlier this year to keep all of my cables organized and I haven’t looked back. Available on Amazon, $9.59
