International House in New Orleans is Back in Business
Fortunately Hurricane Gustav didn’t inflict as much damage as was feared, and hopefully Hurricane Ike will leave New Orleans alone. Meanwhile, the International House boutique hotel has opened its doors again and is welcoming guests, whereas many hotels there have not yet been able to.
Located two blocks from the historic French Quarter, it displays a beautiful Beaux Arts facade with two white columns. Having recently celebrated its tenth anniversary, it has newly-renovated guestrooms.
It is located in the heart of the Central Business District at 221 Camp Street.

Ultimate Travelers Exit Directory: A “Must Have” for Campers and Car Travelers
Filed Under Camping, Safe Travel, United States, car travel · Comment
Admit it. Haven’t you ever said to yourself, even during a short road trip, “I wonder what I’ll find if I take the next exit off the interstate”? If you just need food or gas, or if you need a hardware store or mechanic, this
book will make life on the road easier for you.
Exit Now: Ultimate Travelers Exit Directory is a 560-page book which details interstate exits in the “lower 48″ of the United States.
If you are driving an RV or hauling a travel trailer, you’ll be able to find out which exits offer things like RV dump stations as well as easy RV access. It lists 4000+ RV parks/campgrounds and RV service centers. It also includes a complete list of low-clearance overpasses.
But it’s handy even if you’re just taking a road trip in your car. Now you’ll know which restaurants and gas stations are available at a particular exit, if there is a pharmacy or hospital or even pet hospital there, not to mention grocery stores, post offices, parks, mechanics, and so much more.
You can purchase it in the trailerlifedirectory.com Travel Store.
It’s also available at Amazon.com, in Camping World stores, or by calling: 1-800-825-6861.
